Eye from Zion – Medical Humanitarian Mission (Israel) will provide surgery, diagnostics, and training with new innovation technologies and medical devices.

UZBEKISTAN TO TEST A PILOT PLANT

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel held negotiations with Michael Rutman, Vice President of the Israeli innovative company Watergen, which specializes in production of installations for generating drinking water from air.

At the meeting, issues of establishing cooperation between Watergen and Uzbekistan, including on organization of a production line in the country, were discussed.

As the first step towards long-term cooperation, an agreement was reached on testing the unit of an Israeli company in the arid climate of Uzbekistan.

With the assistance of Uzbekistan’s diplomatic mission in Israel and the Ministry of Innovative Development, in the near future, a Watergen pilot plant will be installed in Bukhara region, capable of producing up to 900 liters of drinking water per day.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, an agreement was reached on the visit to Uzbekistan of M.Rutman on May 12-16, 2019 for the official launch of a trial period, as well as for holding negotiations.

Israeli delegation to visit Tashkent and Bukhara

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 1 May 2019, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel held a meeting with the Deputy Director General of the Israel Institute of Export and International Cooperation on International Economic Relations Sabine Segal.

The institute is a state non-profit organization, part of the Israeli Ministry of Economy, and unites over 2.6 thousand companies and organizations, which together account for about 90% of industrial exports.

During the talks, the sides considered issues of organization of the visit of the delegation of representatives of official agencies and leading Israeli agribusiness companies to Uzbekistan on 26-30 May to hold bilateral business forums in Bukhara and Tashkent.

In addition, an agreement was reached on organizing of the visit of the institute’s leadership to Uzbekistan in summer to study economic reforms, carried in the country and created conditions for foreign companies.

The delegation will discuss practical directions for expanding trade, economic, investment and technological cooperation between the two countries, including the creation of high-tech and export-oriented industries in Uzbekistan.

В Бухарской области появится опытная установка, генерирующая питьевую воду из воздуха


Установка израильской инновационной компании Watergen пройдет испытания в Бухарской области. Агрегат, который планируется испробовать в условиях засушливого климата Узбекистана, предназначен для генерирования питьевой воды из воздуха.

Переговоры с Михаилом Рутманом, вице-президентом Watergen, были проведены Посольством Узбекистана в Израиле 3 мая, сообщает Министерство иностранных дел. Достигнута договоренность о том, что уже в ближайшее время при содействии посольства и Министерства инновационного развития Узбекистана опытная установка Watergen начнет работу в Бухарской области. Агрегат рассчитан на производство до 900 литров питьевой воды ежедневно.

12-16 мая Михаил Рутман посетит Узбекистан, чтобы принять участие в официальном запуске установки и провести с заинтересованными структурами переговоры о создании производственной линии Watergen в республике.

 

A pilot plant will appear in the Bukhara region, generating drinking water from the air

Installation of the Israeli innovative company Watergen will be tested in the Bukhara region. The unit, which is planned to be tested in the arid climate of Uzbekistan, is designed to generate drinking water from the air.

 

Negotiations with Mikhail Rutman, Vice-President of Watergen, were held by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel on May 3, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was agreed that in the near future, with the assistance of the embassy and the Ministry of Innovation Development of Uzbekistan, the Watergen pilot plant will begin work in the Bukhara region. Educational institutions of Uzbekistan and Israel to establish cooperation

On May 2, 2019, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel organized a meeting with the President of the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT), Professor Eduard Yakubov.

According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, the issues of Israeli delegation’s visit to Uzbekistan on May 12-19 were discussed at the meeting.

In its course, it is planned to sign memorandums in Bukhara on the establishment of a long-term partnership between HIT and Bukhara State University, Bukhara Engineering and Technology Institute, which will include joint training of Uzbek specialists in such areas as information technology, industrial design, applied mathematics, alternative energy and others.

In addition, the STEMM (science, technology, education, mathematics and medicine) scientific and practical conference will be organized jointly with the universities of Bukhara, where Israeli lecturers will speak about advanced innovative developments in the educational process, design technologies and museology using information technologies.

Similar conferences will be organized at Samarkand State University and the National University of Uzbekistan during Israeli delegation’s visit to Samarkand and Tashkent.
